In Beaumont for a short work trip and Tia's was one of the recommended local spots. Food was delicious with portions bigger then expected. Our server was fantastic and took great care of us. Will be back next time I'm in town.

I have to say the reviews are lies this place has horrible food,the food has no seasoning, my husband ordered the oyster Po Boy he was hungry so he ate it. But it was nasty with no seasoning, I ordered the sea food enchiladas they were horrible no seasoning, the rice had no flavor the beans didn’t either, no salsa. Very disappointed, the only thing that was good was the customer service. McKenzie was my server she was amazing please keep up the great service and your personality was so amazing and caring spirit. My advice please just try to season your food a Little more. Because for the price it’s not worth it!!

Highly recommend trying this restaurant! You can’t go wrong with anything you order on the menu. They offer larger portions and food is served hot and flavorful!

Great Food. The beef fajitas are always a win and that's what I usually get. I wanted to try something different. So, I had the Blackened Reddish Pontchartrain yesterday and the Seafood Enchiladas the day before. Both dishes had very rich and delicious sauces and the serving size was giant.

I had never even heard of “Mexicajun” before, but after visiting Tia Juanita’s last Saturday, I’m officially a fan. We went to celebrate my aunt’s 88th birthday, and it was the perfect spot for a big family gathering. Plenty of space for larger groups, but I also noticed some quieter booth areas that would be great for date nights too. The vibe was really good—fun, lively, and welcoming. The service was excellent—super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Now the food… wow. I came in a little confused—like, is this Mexican? Cajun? Both? Are we talking charro beans meets gumbo? And honestly… yes, and it works. Those charro beans (that gumbo-style dish) were AMAZING. I had the seafood enchiladas—so cheesy, creamy, and full of flavor. The fried ribs were also really good, and I got to try a little bit of everyone’s food at the table. Not a single miss. Oh—and the queso? Absolutely on point. This place really nails both sides—the Mexican flavors and the Cajun influence. It’s unique, it’s delicious, and it’s a whole vibe. Tia Juanita… you did your thing. 💃
